Before you deliver the Get Firewise programme you can be provided with some statistics about the types and causes of house fires that have occurred in your area.

This information can assist you to make the learning in the Get Firewise programme relevant for your students. For example, the statistics and your students’ responses to section 1 of the programme (What is fire?) will determine how much emphasis your learning programme has on safety around candles.
